very simple, printable safe oxygen splitter
grabcad
To achieve my objectives, I aimed to avoid relying on 3D-printed component airtightness and prevent ABS exposure to pure oxygen. Minimizing printing time and material usage were also crucial. My previous entry mentioned that ABS is not suited for pure oxygen use, while many 3D-printed parts lack air tightness, posing a fire risk. Using an off-the-shelf or 3D-printable T/Y fitting (like Sean Buxton's custom bleed valve and flow splitter or Anton Alveflo's design) is recommended. However, some submitted entries seem challenging to print without support or a well-tuned printer, making removal of internal support difficult. My slide rule design offers an improved version of minimalist options. This creation is part of my Field Ready work but hasn't been field-tested yet.
