I'm adding a simple extension to Sjefke's FPV platform for the Easystar 2 so I can mount a low-cost board camera. The hooks securely attach it to the original Easystar 2 mounting points - you'll need two of them, obviously. The camera bracket fits standard board cameras without removing their outer square casing, which measures approximately 40mm per side. In my case, just gentle friction was enough to keep the camera in place. I attached the camera bracket to the mounting plate using screws, but drilling and gluing it would also work fine.
