Very Enormous Compass (VEC)

I required an exceptionally large compass and couldn't locate what I needed, so I created one that anyone else who needs it can use. This design utilizes 1/2" square stock made from any material and length. I employed cherry wood but aluminum works equally as well. A ball bearing is pressed into the base, and a round pencil (7.25 mm) is utilized. The design features raised lines to simplify alignment and measurement. Four #2x56 bolts, each 3/4" in length, are used. The ball bearing measures 11 mm OD with a 5 mm ID and is 4 mm thick. I may add some dycem to the bottom of the cone if slippage becomes an issue.
