I designed these to provide unique lighting for a party. The design was created using OpenSCAD. You'll need to purchase a few items to make these and links to Amazon are provided below. These are not affiliate links, but rather a starting point. You'll need: - A 3D printer with filament - G4 bulb socket - G4 110v LED bulb - Round 2 prong electrical socket - Wire strippers - Super glue Assembly steps: 1. Print the part. 2. Clear the wire hole for the G4 socket. Use a small screwdriver to break through the filament strings below the G4 socket hole. This is where there's a 100% overhang, so there will be some strings, but just break them apart to clear the path for the G4 socket wires to feed through. 3. Feed the wires for the G4 socket through the hole. 4. Cut off about 0.5" from the end of the wires and strip 0.75" of insulation off what's left. 5. Remove the two screws from the electrical socket and take the black outer sleeve off. 6. Feed the two wires through the black outer sleeve so that they enter the skinny end and exit the wide end. 7. Wrap each bare wire around one of the screw terminals for the socket and tighten down. Make sure to wrap them clockwise, so as the screw tightens, it further tightens the wire. 8. Reattach the black outer sleeve to the electrical socket with the two screws you removed earlier. 9. Push the plug into its hole in the 3D printed part. I found that rotating just the plug about 360 degrees before pushing it in helped the wires feed into the cavity easier. 10. When you're happy with the alignment of the plug and the 3D printed part, apply superglue to the ridges of the electrical socket to attach the socket to the 3D printer part.
