Create an SCAD file for a vertical x-axis x-carriage or Makerslide implementation. The side holes can be used for fan installation or auto-bed leveling servo mount. Update on 3/10/16 features a BTouch on the extruder plate. In this design, LM8 uses three lm8uu bearings while MS refers to Makerslide with two parts. The extruder plate (EXT) should be made of ABS. If the belt runs on top of the Makerslide, use MSBELT setting; otherwise, utilize LM8BELT position available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12609. The vertical x-axis is set for 70mm. To assemble, place Makerslide wheels against the MF part with a washer and a 22mm spacer on the other side, securing it with an adjusting nut at the top using 50mm screws. The four rear holes are for tensioner installation using http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:211344 file. Additionally, Makerslidespacer.scad file is provided to make a custom spacer. All necessary files are included to avoid searching online. The top, bottom, and side holes of MS & LM8, as well as the EXT sides, are sized for a 3mm tap.
