Modify your 3D printer with a Misumi leadscrew MTSSR8 nut and self-aligning bronze bearings or Makerslide. For the x-carriage, check out http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:245688. Download the parts from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12609, and use the provided scad file with x-bracket_1off.stl and zClamp_4off.stl. The file is parametric, so adjust as necessary. Print at least one SimpleVX-ZClamp.stl for your motor mount and three SimpleVX-ZClamp2.stl. Use a brim when printing; support is not required if you have proper bridging settings. To install the idler, use a 625 bearing, two regular washers, and two fender washers on a 50mm 5mm screw with two standard wheel spacers. Mount SimpleVX-ZClamps on the non-rail side of the makerslide using two screws; the motor side uses two 35mm 5mm screws, and the idler non-bearing screw uses a 25mm 5mm screw.
