vertical windmill helix

The construction is extremely solid and lightweight due to its wavy shape. For optimal pressure equalization, it remains open in the middle. The wind turbine begins turning in very gentle breezes. Last time a severe storm with gusts reaching 120 km/h struck without any issues for the windmill. The wings are only 0.8mm thick and optimized for printing using a 0.4mm nozzle. The windmill is specifically designed to be printed upside down. Use this windmill with two 608 ball-bearings. Turn it 180 degrees to print. Print at a low speed. Update: A stabilizer has been added in the middle. Update 2: The stabilizer is now even thinner, providing more space on the axle. Update 3: A vase mode version is now available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2799131 and a low-poly version at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2799241.
