vertical (wall mounted) hex bit storage
thingiverse
I'm currently mounting my hand tools on the wall using "french cleats" and I wanted to include my assorted hex bits as well, so I designed a versatile holder that can be placed both on the table and against the wall. The rails on either side allow the holder to slide in and out freely, making it easy to access my bits when I need them. To ensure secure storage, I positioned the hex bits at a 40-degree angle relative to the front face of the holder, allowing them to stay in place regardless of whether the holder is mounted vertically or horizontally on the wall, while also keeping the overhangs safely below 45 degrees for printing purposes.
