Vertical Support for Dremel Tool
youmagine
This is a versatile support system I crafted to securely hold your Dremel rotary tool at an upward vertical angle. I've put this design to the test in this position and found it effective. The device consists of two parts: a flat base mounted at the rear and a tool holder. There are two versions of this holder available - one uses the standard cap that comes with most Dremel tools, while the other employs the cap included with the Detailer's Grip Attachment 577. If you don't own this attachment, I highly recommend it; it's incredibly useful! However, only one version is required. The base can be firmly attached to a table using nails or screws, but I advise employing a clamp and avoiding any drilling on your workstation. Alternatively, the two components can be secured together using a screw or glue. You also have the option of printing both parts as a single unit; however, this may necessitate substantial support. Future plans include adding a small worktable to hold pieces at complete horizontal angles, utilizing the pill-shaped holes for this purpose. Additionally, I'm considering designing a longer and larger custom cap, but so far, the system functions as intended.
