Vertical Support for Dremel
pinshape
Summary This is a holder I designed to keep your Dremel tool stationary at a 90-degree angle upwards and tested its functionality in this position. The support consists of two parts: a flat base at the rear and a tool holder, with two variations available. One uses the standard cap included with most Dremel tools, while the other employs the cap from the Detailer's Grip Attachment 577 (as seen in the pictures). If you don't own this attachment, I highly recommend purchasing it; its versatility is undeniable. The base can be securely fastened to a table using nails or screws, but I advise utilizing clamps to avoid damaging your workspace. Alternatively, the two parts can be joined via screw or adhesive. Printing both components as one piece is also an option, although this may require extensive support structures. Future plans include adding a horizontal worktable to hold pieces securely and designing a longer, larger custom cap, but the current design functions as intended. I hope you find this holder useful.
