Vertical Support for Dremel

Vertical Support for Dremel

This is a support I designed specifically to keep your Dremel rotatory tool securely positioned in an upward vertical direction, exactly how I intended it to be used. It consists of two distinct components: a flat base at the rear and the tool holder itself. There are two different versions of this holder available - one utilizes the standard cap that comes with most typical Dremel tools, while the other employs the specialized cap included with the Detailer's Grip Attachment 577. If you don't already own this attachment, I highly recommend it; it's an incredibly useful addition to your toolkit. You'll only need one version of the holder. The base can be securely fastened to a table either by nailing or screwing it in place, but I strongly advise using a clamp instead and avoiding any drilling that might damage your workstation. Alternatively, you can join the two pieces together using a screw or some adhesive. For added convenience, both components can be printed as a single unit, although this may require extensive support material to ensure a smooth print job. In the future, I plan to enhance this design by adding a small worktable that will allow for complete horizontal positioning of your tools - the pill-shaped holes are reserved specifically for this feature. I'm also considering designing a longer and larger custom cap to complement the existing holder. For now, it functions as intended, and I hope you find it useful in your projects.
