Vertical Seder Plate Remix
thingiverse
I tried making Steve Medwin's seder plate, but found that the seder plate liners I used didn't fit properly - they were 1/4" smaller in diameter and non-uniform in height. I tried scaling the design in the x-y direction, but that wasn't working for me, so I ended up remixing it to see if I could get it to work better with my seder plate liners. Once I was doing that, I changed the press fit connections to threaded connections and also re-mixed the base to be more similar to JA Mott's design. I've tried all of the pieces, but still need to print three more arms to complete the full seder plate. But with Passover less than two weeks away, I figured I'd better post what I've got so others can try it before then. March 30th Update: I added a second version of the base that increases the diameter from 140 mm to 180 mm for added stability. My wife was worried about the first base failing, but I just made some adjustments and rotated the thread so the arms are centered over the points of the star.
