Vertical Plotter Gondola v3 (aka Polargraph)

I crafted a gondola for a simple vertical plotter. Take a look at my bead chain gear in my objects as well:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:467647 \nWatch how both objects perform in this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPdCCa383Jw \nMy version v4, with a few more features, is also available:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:478346 \nTo get started building your own vertical plotter, check out the models and electronics in this post, and refer to Sandy Nobles' Polargraph Instructables:http://www.instructables.com/id/Polargraph-Drawing-Machine/?ALLSTEPS \nThis is iteration three of my gondola. It's not yet perfect; I'm still refining it. Here are its key features: 1) The bead chains can be secured using M3 bolts 2) You can fasten the pen with an M4 bolt 3) There is space to glue in a servo for the pen lift mechanism 4) A hole (M3 size, although an M5 one would work even better and allow for the use of M5 nuts as a weight counterbalance) at the bottom for mounting the counterweight Take a closer look here:http://www.makerblog.at/2014/09/vertikalplotter-im-selbstbau-teil-1-polargraph-kritzler-makelangelo-und-co/
