Holder for Hot Air Gun Found in Chinese Soldering Stations. A common component found in Chinese soldering and SMD rework stations is a holder with bolt holes designed specifically for the hot air gun, also known as the 208B heat gun. This type of holder can be seen in various stations, including the YIHUA 8786D. When I initially intended to use this holder, my plan was to store the hot air gun securely, not to act as a stand. Consequently, the heat resistance requirement is not essential in this context. However, it's crucial to note that if you choose to utilize this holder while operating the hot air gun, be aware of one important limitation. Unlike the standard holder included with the hot air station, this custom-made holder lacks magnets to automatically turn off the hot air gun when placed inside. The bolt holes on this holder are designed to accommodate 5mm bolts for added stability and security.
