Vertical Embossed Detailing - Remix
thingiverse
Great test idea, thanks Vicky! Hope you don't mind me remixing. When I sliced the original in S3D, I noticed that some of the numbers wouldn't be printed as part of the main body. I'm not criticizing the original design at all - it was a great excuse to practice Fusion 360 :-) ... Like I ever need an excuse lol. So, off I went and redesigned the whole thing, mostly guessing sizes (apart from the obvious ones, of course) and it turned out huge lol! Right, back to the beginning then - well, not exactly. Ain't parametric modeling great lol! Sure, I could have imported the mesh, but I wanted to practice. Printed on my Prusa i3 MK2 with Esun PLA filament. Sliced in S3D with a layer height of 0.2mm and bottom layers set to 3. Top layers were set to 4 with perimeters at 3. Printing speed was 50mm/s, hotend temperature at 205c, heatbed at 55c, and fan at 75% after the first layer.
