This coupler works specifically for GT2 Timing Belts, particularly effective when horizontally installed initially. However, due to increased drag from the horizontal placement, a modification is made to keep the belt orientation aligned with feed gears consistently. The design makes this component an essential asset while building the cobblebot kickstarter kit. I recommend using the "Tall Vertical Coupler" instead, as it optimizes the belt alignment in a more favorable position.
