Carriage Upgrade for Tevo Tarantula's MGN12 Conversion - Dual E3D V6 Volcanoes Coming! The modular carriage design is a game-changer, and it's getting even better! Plans are in motion to add mounts for dual E3D V6 volcanoes, bringing your printing capabilities to the next level. July 27th, 2016 Update: Design Refinement I've made some significant changes to the carriage design. From now on, M4 screws will be used for attaching hot end mounts, while M3 screws will be reserved for clamps. This improvement will not only provide a more secure fit but also make assembly and disassembly a breeze. The belt clamping system has been upgraded with two top and bottom clamps, ensuring a snug and even grip on the belt. I've also added holes for mounting endstop actuators, giving you even more flexibility when it comes to customizing your printer. Post-Printing Instructions To get started, you'll need three M4 nuts and one M3 locking nut. These will help secure the carriage in place and prevent any movement during printing. Design Process This carriage upgrade was designed using Fusion360, with a focus on creating a seamless integration for dual E3D vulcano mounts. The holes are carefully spaced 55mm apart, with the bottom hole positioned 31.5mm down from center. This precision design ensures that your printer will run smoothly and efficiently, producing high-quality prints every time.
