This redesign improves upon the earlier copy stand by utilizing Openbuilds V-slot mini-wheels and 688zz bearings, providing a smoother experience compared to the printed wheels in the original design. The redesigned copy stand uses less filament than its predecessor and is simpler to assemble due to the outer frame's two-part construction. The file is at 10x size due to Sketchup's limitations on circle resolution. Gantry Parts ------------- - Inner frame.stl, outer fixed.stl, and outer adj.stl form the central structure of the gantry. Print these twice. - Wheel spacers.stl contains spacers and eccentric adjustable cams; you'll need two sets of these. - Arca clamp end.stl is designed for cheap eBay arca-swiss clamps with 3 x 1/4" holes, each 30mm apart (e.g., https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/293050803785). - End cap.stl prevents the camera arm from escaping. - Outer trim.stl covers ugly bridges in the outer frame pieces. Motion "system" parts ---------------------- - Teeth.stl are mounted on the inside of the C-beam with flat sides facing up, engaging with... - Block.stl to set the height of the gantry and maximum extension of the camera arm. Extras ------- - Usb battery pack holder.stl holds an ancient Xiaomi USB battery bank. Similar models can be used as a replacement. - Right angle brace.stl is self-explanatory; it's held together with 4 pieces.
