This is the vital plastic component used to secure a vertical blind to its operating system. Over time, my older blinds have suffered significant damage due to sun exposure, causing the existing plastic components to deteriorate and the blind slats to detach at the slightest touch. To rectify this issue, simply pull out the old piece and slide in the new one at the top of the fabric vertical blind. Next, push the center of the support piece into the plastic clip on the mechanism. In some cases, it's possible to obtain replacement parts directly from the manufacturer, but when available, they can be quite costly. Fortunately, having the ability to print replacements as needed is a huge advantage.
