Vertical Blind Hanger Replacement
thingiverse
This small attachment point was designed to replace a flimsy styrene holder in the pole pocket of our rental home's vertical blinds. Those cheap, broken blinds would keep falling out at the hook and refused to stay up, so they were turned upside down for something to grasp onto. However, just touching them made them come crashing off again. As someone who owns an apartment or rents a place, you may know exactly what I'm talking about. It seems that these low-cost blinds are extremely common in shared spaces like ours. This attachment point was created as a potential solution for your exact problem, and it's been put to good use in our own rental house. The small piece was printed with black ABS plastic using an LulzBot TAZ 5 printer. The settings used were High detail resolution without rafts or supports. It took approximately seven minutes and fifteen seconds to print just one attachment point with the given infill.
