Vertical Blind Carrier and Slat Repair Collection

Replacement worm gear, carrier, ribbon, and stem for vertical blinds. There's no naming schema for these parts that I can see, so eyeball and see if you think it'll work. I copied the original part completely. This means that you can just print the parts you need and it might work as mine act as direct replacements.Along with the carrier assembly, I created a slat repair clip in the case that the slat breaks.Everything seems to work in my case, replaced about 7 carriers, and a few ribbons. Note: Worm gear ratio was hard to figure out, it seems to be good in my case now, but if your gears are made at all differently, the blinds might open/close at a different rate than original.Print Settings: I printed with a 0.4 nozzle with 0.2 layer height.Try and print in PETG, if your windows get a lot of heat, some other materials could melt.Print the carrier with the stem side down, try not to print any supports inside the “box”.Postprocessing:The worm gear and stem fit into the carrier by hand. Might have to push a bit for the gear, should be replaceable as well.Loosen the carrier wheels with pliers once printed, they roll, a bit awkwardly, but they work.If you're using the ribbons, I highly recommend slightly bending the curved end up and applying a tiny bit of lube or grease. I also recommend doing some light sanding on the carrier where the ribbon touches for better movement.Attribution:My slat repair clip is an original cad model, but was based off the measurements from "Vertical Blind Vane Repair Clip" by leo69 on Thingiverse. Added in a bit of relief to allow for a tighter clip action.
