Vertical-axis wind turbine
thingiverse
This Vertical-axis wind turbine is designed to be easily printed and scalable in size, featuring an omni-directional design that enables efficient rotation during varying wind conditions. Aluminum tubes will serve as tie-bars with adjustable lengths, while dowel pin holes securely lock parts together. The blades and unions have two rod holes for enhanced strength. This project is still a work in progress, with plans to coat the entire assembly with carbon fiber or epoxy for durability. Both STL and OBJ files are included. My intention is to print it with thicker external walls and supports at a .2mm resolution.
