A preliminary design for a vertical-axis Darrieus/Savonius wind turbine integrates an axial flux generator. However, the project is still in progress and further instructions will be posted soon. The current plan involves assembling the axial flux generator, printing eight rotor arms, one rotor airfoil tie, attaching four rotor arms to the bottom rotor of the generator, joining the rest with the tie, and finally securing plastic airfoils between the arms using superglue. Successful completion will result in a functional wind turbine. But, it's advisable not to attempt this without necessary tools or experience, as I am yet to test its efficiency myself.
