Vertical AR15 Magazine Rack

10.11.22 I added a .3mf file. This files shows how I reinforced the area around the screw to increase its strength and integration to the model's body.

This is a remix of air_'s AR 15 Magazine rack.

It uses these magnets to attach the rack to your gun safe or cabinet.

Fits most mags. I've tested PMags, Hexmags, MFT mags, standard GI and M&P15-22. THRIL mags do not fit.

Printed with tree supports on baseplate only. You might be able to skip the supports if your bridging is good. Because the linked magnets are really strong you might find it useful to add a wall and make the infill on dense side (maybe 50%) if you plan on taking the racks off a lot. Also, you'll want to change the infill the portion of the model where the magnet is screwed into it. I added a 20mm cube of 100% infill and 5 wall lines. The .3mf file includes these additions.

Also, you may have to orient the piece at 45 degrees on your baseplate.

If you like what I'm doing here, please consider making a small donation.
