The first look at it has finally been unveiled... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbXBGx_uQsQ 2/20/20... I made significant improvements to the design, including adding windows and floors. Now you can print different colored parts and easily glue them in place. Extensive testing revealed that the chopper and motor mount fit together much more smoothly than before. Use the STLs for the chopper where all pieces are on one plate. If needed, I can break down this piece into smaller components. Here's a reworked version of the VertiBird I created last week. As a kid, I always dreamed of owning a rescue ship and helicopter combo. To make it more manageable, I broke the ship into 7 individual pieces that fit perfectly on an Ender bed. You'll need all the parts shown here. An Arduino, 2 motors, motor controller, and 2 potentiometers are necessary for this project. Check out my other VertiBird design for a comprehensive parts list: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4148690 I've posted detailed assembly instructions for the standard Vert and this build will follow a similar process once the ship is assembled with glue.
