VertexEvo Y-visor
thingiverse
This is a remix of Y-visor for VertexEvo printer. After adding print-bed side support and extending print area along Y-axis, I realized the original visor collides with top piece of right support before print-head reaches new Y=0 position. To solve this issue, I redesigned the visor entirely and publishing it here. You will need three M3 self-locking nuts, one M3x25mm screw, and one M3x16mm screw to assemble this part. Optionally, you can add slightly more weight to the front side of the visor by using another M3x16mm screw and M3 nut. The images demonstrate how to put everything together. Make sure Y-visor_part3 moves freely and closes Y-stop sensor only when pushed towards the back of the printer by XY_clamp.
