A straightforward tweak to settle the z-axis of the Velleman Vertex K8400 firmly in place utilizes a regular 608 bearing. The result? For me at least, the quality gap is barely noticeable. What I do appreciate is the silence – no vibrating sound from my z-axis now. Please inspect your printer beforehand to verify that this tweak fits perfectly and won't harm your z-axis setup.
