Cover for Velleman Vertex K8400 on-board operator. As this circuit board with numerous contacts is relatively exposed to the environment inside the printer, I figured it's essential to create a cover for it. This will keep dust and oil away from the contacts, but also prevent metal components from short-circuiting if dropped onto the circuit board. I've included a PDF with measurements, specifically noting the height measurement of 68mm on the right-hand side of the model. This raised area is designed to compensate for the raised area in the circuit board, but the space between that area and the lower end of the lower corner clamp of the Vertex housing is quite limited, making it a snug fit. As this space may vary depending on the build, ensure it fits your requirements before printing. After all, this model requires about a 5-hour print, so you'll want to get it right. This design represents the final execution as it now fits perfectly. I had to re-do the raised area myself because I made an error initially - I couldn't slide the cover underneath the corner clamp. I simply cut off the raised area and printed a replacement part, then glued that on. Edit - September 2018: I've added a STEP source file for your convenience.
