You can add two e3d v6 hotends to your Vertex K8400 by first adjusting the height of the second hotend. I found this modification useful for my printer, as my genuine and fake e3d v6 hotends have different heights. This solution may also work for a combination of a Volcano and a V6, but I haven't tested that yet. To proceed, you'll need to add two standard M3 nuts. The rest of the necessary nuts and bolts can be found in your Vertex's spare parts kit. Once printed, simply slide the components together and install them. You can then adjust the height of the second hotend and secure it using the bolts.
