I'm designing my own version of the Vertex Delta sleds, built from scratch in Blender to closely replicate the stock ones visually. The main goal behind these custom sleds is to upgrade your printer by replacing brass bushings with linear bearings for enhanced performance. Here are the key reasons why: * Improved adjustability for precise control * No more fine oil on rods; instead, use bearing grease for smooth operation * Increased precision for better print quality To assemble these sleds, you'll need 12 zip ties. The design is specifically tailored to accommodate electrical zip ties with a 2.5mm width and 1mm thickness. I personally use the 100mm long ones. This iteration of the sleds is designed as a finished product, ready for mounting without any post-printing modifications or adjustments required. If your printer is well-calibrated, simply print these sleds and install them for optimal performance.
