Vertebrate: Titanoboa
sketchfab
The reconstruction of a long-lost snake species, Titanoboa, brings to life a fossilized skeleton dating back to the Paleocene era. A 3D model of the beast's skull was painstakingly crafted from a cast taken directly from the original specimen unearthed in Colombia. Measuring approximately 40 centimeters in length, the intricate model showcases the remarkable work of Emily Hauf, a talented artist with a keen eye for detail and a passion for bringing ancient creatures back to life through her artistry.
