This is a versatile filament drive for a Bowden type extruder that's inspired by the extremely successful Air Tripper design. To boost its durability and accommodate port access for 1/8" BSPT fittings, some notable changes were incorporated. The modified design also suits 3mm filament perfectly. **Key Requirements** To build this component, follow these steps carefully: **Bill of Materials** * 5 M3x25 screws (both pan head and socket head will work) * 1 M3 Nut * 2 M4x60 screws * 2 M4 Nuts * A grub screw with a diameter of 8mm and length of 20mm, or similar specifications * A pair of bearings, specifically the 608ZZ and 625ZZ types * An 8mm hobbed drive pulley * A NEMA17 stepper motor * Springs measuring 25x6mm, 0.8mm in wire diameter (2 springs required) * M4 washers * M4 bolts for extruder mounting * One 4mm pneumatic quick connect fitting suitable for either BSPT or NPT thread types if working with 1.75mm filament The drive system can accommodate both clockwise and counterclockwise direction filament flow simply by choosing the attachment side for the pneumatic quick disconnect fitting.
