Fotogrametria test during Paris 2019 vacations (50 photos). The Queen's Hamlet is a dependency of the Petit Trianon, in the Palace of Versailles. Marie Antoinette commissioned the construction of the hamlet in winter 1782 to 1783, seeking a place to escape from the rigidity of court life. Inspired by Rousseau's works, Marie Antoinette longed for a more rustic life, close to nature; a small paradise where theater and parties would make her forget her royal status. The hamlet, which also functioned as an agricultural operation, was influenced by the ideas of Physiocracy and Enlightenment from the aristocrats' point of view. Richard Mique was the architect in charge of building it based on the village of Chantilly Palace and the artist Hubert Robert's engravings. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen%27s_Hamlet
