Versace Céline inspired chain

I'm trying my hand at replicating Versace's Céline necklace and I think the model turned out pretty well, but getting it to print on my printer has been a challenge. Test 1 was too small for my taste, test 2 was too thick. Test 3 is a decent attempt, but it needs a locking mechanism. I also think the chains could be narrower and tighter. It might benefit from losing a few links as well. The pencil in the pictures gives a sense of scale. The original plan was to have this cast as a metal part using a casting process, but it turns out that technology has limitations on the number of interlocking parts it can handle, so this isn't feasible. A PLA necklace doesn't really do it for me, so I'm probably going to put this project on hold.
