vernmaDe Replacement Refuse/Trash Can Wheel
thingiverse
The plastic wheel on my trash can just vanished into thin air. I'd been dragging this thing around on one wheel for months, and now it's time to take action! Enter, the vernmaDe replacement trashcan wheel! I secured the two halves with stainless steel screws and installed them directly onto the axle. It works perfectly! Maybe using some epoxy will keep it together over time, but I'm not worried about that right now - I love it just as it is. Don't replace your cans; fix them instead! My axle didn't have a nut on the end, so I had to solder an end cap on there. This meant my wheel had to be in two pieces. If you've got an open-end axle, you might be able to mash the two pieces together. Print Settings: Rafts: Doesn't matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.35 Infill: 50% Notes: High infill for extra strength - I think I used three walls too. You may have to ream out the center hole for your specific axle.
