I purchased this packet (http://www.rhombus.be/contents/nl/p1809_Basic_Turbine_Building_Parts.html) to experiment with harnessing wind power. It includes a generator, mounts for the windmill blades and rods to secure the blades. You can buy a foundation with it, but I prefer to design it myself. To assemble this project, you will need: 1x motor mount 3x bottom plates 3x height extensions If you want to build a taller structure, you can use connecting pieces to link two height extensions together. The joining parts do not fit tightly, so I use polymer adhesive to secure the components in place. The reason larger parts are separate is because my hobby printer, Vertex K8600, prints within an 8x8x8cm volume. To complete this project, simply attach the bottom plates to a sturdy surface and shorten the wooden rods slightly. Then, design and construct your windmill blades to test their efficiency. I combined two middle sections together, but you can use as many or as few as needed, depending on the size of your wing design.
