Vernier Kidwind Motormount vertical
thingiverse
This is a special version for vertical windmills, requiring less material than the horizontal variant since it doesn't need height. You can secure the mount with the four holes so that the thing stays put and doesn't take flight. To assemble the kidwind generator, insert it into one of the holes and guide the wires through the square box. Next, use the four holes to screw the mounting firmly onto a solid surface, ensuring that strong winds won't blow it away. Then, attach the windblade holder to the generator. Now, design vertical blades and add them to the sticks. This design requires the basic set of parts found at http://www.rhombus.be/contents/nl/p1809_Basic_Turbine_Building_Parts.html to build the entire windmill and create a design for vertical wings.
