I adore my vernier calipers, and they normally reside standing upright in a pen holder. However, trouble arises when I reach over to retrieve something and inadvertently brush against the caliper jaws, resulting in an unpleasant scratch due to their sharp edges. Moreover, these precision surfaces are compromised whenever the calipers are not securely stored in a case. Therefore, I designed these custom caliper covers to fit snugly over my calipers while they're not in use, effectively solving both problems. No longer will I have to worry about accidental scratches on my arm, and I can rest assured that the jaws remain well-protected at all times! The cover effortlessly slips onto the larger jaws and snaps securely over the smaller ones behind. To remove it, simply grasp the small jaws and pull off the cover, then slide off the large jaws with ease. Two versions are available: one specifically designed for Tactix calipers and another crafted from Carbon Fiber for a sleeker appearance. Detailed drawings of each design are included to facilitate a precise fit on your calipers.
