Vermicomposter
thingiverse
This is a fairly simple vermicomposter design, requiring a fair amount of filament, but an all together easy print. It is completely expandable and designed with indoor use in mind. All parts print easily without supports. A cup or tray should be kept beneath the unit to catch worm tea. It would be best to install a spigot on the bottom, but it can also be plugged with a rubber stopper. Initial testing shows very few worms falling through into the drip tray, however it may be best to load this area with bedding as well so that they can work their way back up to the compost if they do fall through. This would not affect the functionality of the unit at all. After a few weeks of testing I have not had any worms turn up trapped in the base, but this doesn't mean it isn't possible. Good luck!
