I made some tweaks to my initial design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3012649), which revealed a problem - beans would occasionally get stuck between the drive shaft and the back of the funnel. To fix this, I added a slanted "backstop" to the funnel, and it seems to work much better now. Even with the raised backstop, the funnel (and its lid) still clears the Zassenhaus' handle, allowing it to stay in place during active grinding.
