I created a unique fusion of Venus of Willendorf, an ancient representation of fertility, with Simple Buckles by keyjay. I combined the revered goddess with a functional object that holds up one's pants to create something humorous and thought-provoking. By pairing this historical sculpture with a belt buckle typically associated with machismo personas, I aimed to poke fun at its significance while also celebrating it. The result is a belt buckle that both objectifies and honors this feminine fertility icon.
