The Venus of Moravany is a tiny prehistoric female statuette unearthed in Slovakia during the early 20th century. It was turned up sometime before 1930 by Slovak farmer Štefan Hulman-Petrech while ploughing his field in Podkovica, near the village of Moravany nad Váhom. Crafted from mammoth tusk ivory, this remarkable relic is dated to 22,800 BCE, firmly placing it within the upper Paleolithic era. On display at the Vienna Natural History Museum in Austria, the Venus of Moravany measures a mere 7.6 centimeters tall. Dating back an astonishing 22,800 years, this ancient figurine remains a captivating testament to human ingenuity and creativity. This STL file was meticulously created from a high-resolution scan of the original cast of the Venus of Moravany, which was exhibited in the Czech Republic during the 1980s. After two years of diligent research, I finally tracked down these casts and used state-of-the-art scanning technology to produce an incredibly accurate reproduction of this priceless artifact.
