Aphrodite Statue 3D Scan by 3DWP is licensed under the Creative Commons - Attribution - Non-Commercial - Share Alike license. The creator of this scan has given permission for its use in a non-commercial setting, with the condition that any derivative works must also be shared under the same license. I discovered a high-quality 3D scan of an Aphrodite sculpture online, courtesy of Vincent Schmid's Cast collection in Zurich. I decided to take this model and enhance it for 3D printing purposes. First, I resized the model to optimize its dimensions for printing. Next, I carefully sculpted and repaired any areas where the mesh was not smooth or cohesive. This ensured that the entire sculpture would print with a consistent level of detail. Additionally, I flattened and solidified the base of the statue to prevent it from toppling over during printing. Finally, I created a color model for the Aphrodite statue, allowing users to print it in a vibrant, lifelike hue.
