Venus in Arms at The Louvre, Paris
myminifactory
This Italian marble sculpture was crafted in the 11th Century but remained unfinished until its completion in the 16th Century. Discovered in Italy, it is now part of Tibero Ceuli's collection, acquired by Cardinal Scipion Borghese in 1607. The ancient head appears not to be a match for the statue, yet it proudly adorns one of the grand rooms within the villa Borghese. As a participant in "Scan The World," we're creating a digital repository of fully printable 3D sculptures and artworks from around the globe, made accessible to the public for free through MyMiniFactory's non-profit initiative.
