Venus Candle Mold

Venus Candle Mold

thingiverse

This is a break-away candle mold for an Esquiline Venus torso. I tie a knot at one end of a piece of twine I use for the wick and place that into the wick holder at the base of the torso. The rest of the wick runs up through the funnel. I use a wood clamp to hold the mold together tight while I'm pouring the wax. I then let the wax harden at room temperature and wait at least 8 hours before removing it from the mold. I then trim off the excess wick at the base, remove whatever is left in the funnel, and then clear the small vent tube that intersects the funnel. I have included both halves of the mold together in one file for ease of printing, or if you want to scale up the mold to maximum size print each half individually.
