Venturi Resin Sprayer
thingiverse
Yesterday I was on the hunt for a polyurethane resin sprayer to give my Styrofoam props a hard coat, but since I couldn't find one in my country, I decided to make my own.\nThis spray head is designed to fit onto a standard cheap EINHELL air gun and utilizes standard 6mm soft silicone aquarium air tubing for the resin supply.\nPrint it with PLA for added resistance to acetone cleaning.\nIt uses an 80mm diameter plastic cup as a resin container, making clean up and refill a breeze.\nPrinter Settings\nMachine: \n My RepRap\n \n Rafts: \n Not Necessary\n \n Supports: \n Totally Optional\n \n Infill: \n 15% Works Fine\n \n Notes: \n Supports are a nice touch, but mine printed just fine without them.\nPost-Printing\nSupply Tube Position\n Experiment with the supply tube position inside the nozzle to eliminate vortices and dripping.
