Venturi Generator for 1/2 vinyl tubing

I've taken on a challenge to design a venturi generator specifically for 1/2 inch vinyl tubing, which I'm pretty sure has an upper limit of about 28hg. The engineering behind it could likely use some refinement. Edit V2: I've tweaked the angle of the exit side to see if that makes a difference. Edit 11/13/17: A user pointed out that this design doesn't quite have enough oomph to pull water into the tube when connected to an air compressor. If anyone knows the math behind why this is, or what adjustments could be made to fix it, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
