Air gets sucked in at the back end by the swirling fluid motion and accelerates to the speed of the flowing fluid when it hits the constricted nozzle, producing high velocity fluid exit and significant increase in kinetic energy density of the fluid exiting the injector nozzle, causing an instant and spontaneous mixing of air into the stream of fluid as it enters the main piping system.
