The Venture Star, alternatively known as X-33 (which was actually a prototype precursor, built slightly smaller in size), represented a conceptual space plane, envisioned by Lockheed-Martin engineers working for NASA, specifically engineered as an SSTO or Single Stage To Orbit spacecraft. This remarkable design boasted 7 unified linear aerospike engines that enabled smoother operation when transitioning from Earth's thick atmosphere to the vacuum of outer space and ran on a potent blend of liquid hydrogen and oxygen fuel sources.
