ventografo (windograph) [kmh and mph]
thingiverse
Windograph is a mechanical device designed to measure wind intensity. It records wind speed in both kilometers per hour and miles per hour. The faster the wind blows, the quicker the anemometer spins around. As it rotates, the upper part pulls up sticks that control the counterweight, which also serves as a speed indicator. Wind speed can be easily read from a graduated support shaft. To access the latest version of Windograph, download "all parts windograph v5.rar." It is recommended to use layers no thicker than 0.2mm for optimal results. This project is currently in progress. A first test video is available at https://youtu.be/gmph_bUN2nE. Recent updates include a bike mount and desk added on July 15, 2015. On July 16, 2015, the design was updated to include supported half-top and supported anemometer, as well as improved stick types (stick type1 v.2 and stick type2 v.2). Additionally, bearings were incorporated into the rotation mechanism ("bearing with shaft" and "top for bearing") on July 31, 2015.
